Weight loss and juicing can be a match made in heaven, but some fruits work much better for this than others. Cherry juice is an excellent choice when juicing for weight loss. Cherry juice mixed with apple juice or spring water can help achieve weight loss goals. Cherry juice is a good source of vitamin C and potassium, it known to ease indigestion and constipation and can be used to treat anemia and gout. There are two basic varieties of cherries, the sweet cherries and the tart cherries. The sweet cherries are excellent for eating out of hand but the tart cherries are far more popular as they are used jellies, jams, and pie and pastry fillings and other flavoring applications.  Make sure that you pit cherries before putting them through your fruit and vegetable juicer. The best-known sweet cherry is the Bing Cherry, which is larger and much darker colored than the sour cherries, often growing two fruits on a single stem.
