Rhubarb Liqueur Recipes

Nalivkas (Fruit Liqueurs)

 
 
Rhubarb Liqueur

Ingredients:
4 cups diced rhubarb
4 cups sugar
3 1/2 cups vodka
Instructions:
Mix rhubarb and sugar in a container and and mix until well coated. Add vodka and stir again. Cover and let sit for 3 or 4 weeks. Stir once or twice. Using a cheesecloth, strain the liqueur and throw away the rhubarb. Pour into bottles and cap them. The longer this ages, the better. Anywhere from 4-6 months reasonable.
