Pineapple (Ananas) Liqueur Recipes

Nalivkas (Fruit Liqueurs)

Pineapple Liqueur 1

2 cup Fresh pineapple
2 cup Vodka
½ cup Sugar syrup
Buy the largest pineapple you can find as it will give you more meat. Look for yellow to golden orange color for sweet tasting meat. Avoid greenish color, bruises, discoloured areas, soft spots, or dried out brown leaves. Slice pineapple and combine with vodka in jar. Steep for 1 week. Strain and squeeze as much juice as possible from pineapple. Filter a few times until liquid is smooth and pulp free. Add sugar syrup to taste. Pineapple juice may be added for additional taste if desired. Age 1 month.
Pineapple Liqueur 2

14 oz. fresh pineapple
4 oz. sugar
1/2 cup 151 proof rum
1/2 cup vodka
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Fresh pineapple juice
Crush pineapple pieces into fine pieces. Stir together with the pineapple juice in a pan and add the sugar. Leave over night. Drain syrup and strain pineapple pieces through a cheese cloth. Mix juice with rum and vodka, add lemon juice to taste. Pour in a fifth or 750 ml bottle and fill to the brim with fresh pineapple juice. Leave at least one week.
